Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GaadiMate mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Shweta Chaudhary as a sole proprietorship based in India ("GaadiMate," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

GaadiMate is a vehicle care and management application for Indian users. It helps you track document validity (PUC, insurance, road tax), service intervals, and service history; analyse service center bills using AI; and discover local service vendors.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements under Indian law to use the Service.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Notify us immediately at founder@gaadimate.in if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading information about vehicles you do not own or are not authorised to manage
• Use the Service to look up vehicle data of third parties without their consent
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Submit fraudulent or defamatory vendor reviews
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

5. Vehicle data verification

By submitting a vehicle registration number, you confirm that you are the registered owner of the vehicle or have explicit authorisation from the owner to fetch and process the vehicle's details. You are solely responsible for any consequences of submitting registration numbers without proper authorisation.

6. AI-generated advice

The Service uses artificial intelligence to provide informational guidance only. Specifically:

• Service interval recommendations are based on general manufacturer guidelines and may not account for your vehicle's specific condition.
• Bill analysis flags items that appear inconsistent with typical service schedules. This is not a guarantee that flagged items are unnecessary, nor that unflagged items are necessary.
• You should consult a qualified mechanic before making any decision about your vehicle's maintenance.

We are not liable for any decisions you make based on AI-generated advice.

7. Vendor recommendations

Vendor listings and ratings are user-submitted. We do not endorse, certify, or guarantee the quality of any listed vendor. Engaging with vendors is entirely at your own discretion and risk.

8. User-generated content

By submitting reviews, ratings, or other content, you grant GaadiMate a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the Service. You retain ownership of your content. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

9. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party providers, including Cashfree Payments India Pvt. Ltd., Setu (a Pine Labs company), DigiLocker, and a Large Language Model provider. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective providers' terms. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.

10. Fees

The Service is currently free during the beta period. We may introduce paid features in the future. You will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any change that affects features you currently use without payment.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by Indian law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GaadiMate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability in any matter arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed ₹1,000.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by uninstalling the app.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified within the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India.
